The wife of the Anambra State Governor, Mrs Nonye Soludo, has celebrated the exceptional achievement of 15-year-old Master Kanyeyachukwu Tagbo-Okeke, whose painting was unveiled as the world’s largest canvas by an individual on April 2, 2025, at Eagle’s Square, Abuja. The feat earned him a new Guinness World Record.
Hailing from Amichi in Nnewi South Local Government Area, Kanyeyachukwu, a Junior Secondary School 3 student, has made headlines not just for the size of his artwork, but for his journey of overcoming the challenges associated with autism to make history on a global stage.
Mrs Soludo, in a message of celebration, described Kanyeyachukwu’s accomplishment as a story of resilience and inspiration. She praised his determination and creativity, stating that his success sends a strong message to every child battling adversity in pursuit of their dreams.
“I’m most excited about Kanye’s excellence. In this little genius, I see a perfect story of resilience and daringness,” she said. “Anambra is proud of this superhero. I’m exceptionally proud of your brilliance, dear. Keep winning. The stars are yours!”
Kanyeyachukwu’s achievement is being hailed as a symbol of hope and courage, particularly for children with special needs, and as a testament to the power of art to break barriers.
