Dr. Daniel Olukoya, General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), has called on believers worldwide to strengthen their connection with God as the ultimate strategy for navigating the challenges of 2025.
Speaking during the church’s Cross Over/Prosperity Night at Prayer City, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Olukoya declared 2025 as a year of restoration, breakthroughs, and divine intervention. He emphasized the importance of “targeted prayers” and spiritual discernment, urging believers to align their perspectives with God’s vision to overcome the unique challenges ahead.
“2025 is a year of strange battles where the crooked will attack the straight, the oppressed will fight the free, and the empty will seek to empty the full,” he warned. “However, God will scatter the plans of the enemies with divine interruption. For us in MFM, this is our year of power and undeniable victories.”
Olukoya highlighted significant opportunities for breakthroughs in marital success, the fruit of the womb, and leadership transformation, both in Nigeria and globally. He also issued a stern warning to promiscuous men, cautioning them against falling prey to “marine agents” intent on capturing souls.
The cleric predicted challenges such as economic turbulence, political unrest, massive floods, and unusual weather patterns, urging believers to intensify prayers and seek divine guidance.
He advised, “To live successfully in 2025, you must connect to God’s power, know Him personally, and ensure your spiritual eyes are open to see things as God sees them. Only God’s power can conquer strong enemies this year.”
Dr. Olukoya concluded by encouraging believers to remain steadfast in faith, declaring 2025 as a year of restoration and undeniable victories for those who align themselves with God’s purpose.
