The 24 teams that will compete in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) have now been finalized, following the conclusion of the qualifying series on Tuesday night. Mozambique, Botswana, and Tanzania secured the final three spots, completing the line-up for the tournament.
Previously, 21 teams had already qualified for the prestigious competition. These teams include Morocco, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Algeria, DR Congo, Senegal, Egypt, Angola, Gabon, Uganda, South Africa, Nigeria, Benin Republic, Comoros, Sudan, Equatorial Guinea, Côte d’Ivoire, Zimbabwe, Mali, Zambia, and Tunisia.
The 2025 AFCON will be hosted by Morocco from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.
