Wiper brings good governance and proper distribution of democracy dividends to the table

As the APGA primary for House of Reps draws close, it’s important we remind us of what the man Hon. Uchenna Okafor Wiper brings to the table.
A quick look into the previous offices he held in trust for the people reveals:
– As a three-time Oyi Council Chairman, he did the following
a. Construction/renovation of public schools in all the communities in Oyi.
b. Construction/Renovation of all Primary Healthcare Centres in all the five communities in Oyi.
c. Electrification project: distribution of 12 transformers to every town and some estates in the Local government area.
e. Construction of mini-bridges and controlling of gully erosion.
f. Gave over 300 persons employment as casual workers, members of Willie work force (traffic unit) amongst others.
g. Became the Chairman of all 21 Council Chairman (ALGON Chairman)
h. Construction of Oyi central library
And so many others.
– As the Special Adviser to Governor Willie Obiano on IGR.
When Hon. Okafor Wiper was appointed the head of IGR in Anambra state, he discovered many leakages and blocked them.
Then, the state was making between N400m – N600m, he increased it to N1.2b – N1.5b without adding extra tax. He simply blocked the leakages and government monies flew into the government coffers.
– As Commissioner for Transport and later Trade and Commerce
a. He harmonized all Keke tickets(about 7 at the time into 1) and reduced the tarrifs.
b. He harmonized all buses and shuttles ticket(about 5 at the time into 1) and reduced the tarrifs. Same with motorcycle union.
c. facilitated the employment of people into ATMA, VIO and others.
d. Brought peace and orderliness into parks in the state.
e. Made sure all the markets in the state are peaceful.
f. conducted elections for ASMATA executives.
g. conducted over 20 market union elections.
h. raised the IGR of the Ministry of Trade and Commerce from N300m in four years to N750m in one year.
And so many others.
Ndi beanyi Oyi/Ayamelum, let us send the right man to the House of Reps.
