American rapper Curtis Jackson, known as 50 Cent, recently shared that he rejected a $3 million offer to perform at a rally for Republican candidate Donald Trump in New York’s Madison Square Garden. Speaking on *The Breakfast Club*, the artist confirmed he “got a call” to appear at the event and was also approached to perform his hit song “Many Men, Wish Death” at this year’s Republican National Convention for a similar fee.
50 Cent explained his decision to decline the offers, citing his reluctance to engage in politics due to its often polarizing nature. “I didn’t even go far… I didn’t talk to them about that kinda stuff. I’m afraid about politics,” he admitted. The rapper added that involvement in political events inevitably attracts strong opposition, no matter one’s perspective.
