The Anambra State House of Assembly Committee on Works and Infrastructure has praised the ongoing construction of the Ekwulobia flyover, a key project under the administration of Governor Chukwuma Soludo. This commendation was delivered by the Committee’s Chairman, Engineer Emma Nwafor, who represents Orumba South Constituency, following an oversight visit to the project site.
During the inspection, Engr. Nwafor expressed satisfaction with the progress and quality of the construction, noting that the materials used meet the required standards. He emphasized the importance of maintaining the current pace and quality to ensure the project’s timely completion. The flyover is seen as a critical infrastructure project aimed at improving traffic flow and boosting economic activities in the region.
Engr. Nwafor reassured the people of Anambra that the State House of Assembly will continue to closely monitor the project to ensure it is completed on time and to high standards, reflecting Governor Soludo’s commitment to infrastructural development and the welfare of the state’s residents.
The Committee also inspected other ongoing road projects, including the Ajalli-Nawfija-Ufuma-Ogbunka road and the Ezira-Enuguumuonyia-Umuomaku-Achina road. Following these inspections, the Committee instructed the contractors to address observed issues and complete the projects within the set timeframe.
The oversight visit included Honourable Patrick Udoba, representing Anambra West Constituency, and Honourable Golden Iloh, representing Ihiala Constituency Two, among others.
