Mavin Records superstar Rema has made a generous donation of N105 million to Christ Embassy in Edo State during his recent homecoming. The donation was announced during a Thanksgiving service held on Sunday at the church’s campground on Sapele Road.
In a video shared on social media, Rema expressed his gratitude to the church for the support his family received after his father’s passing. He revealed that the church had opened a shop for his mother during a difficult time when the family felt isolated.
Rema detailed the allocation of the N105 million donation: N40 million was pledged for the church’s infrastructure, N20 million for the Rhapsody of Realities, N25 million for the teen church, and another N20 million was set aside to assist any widow in need.
Reflecting on the church’s role in his life, Rema stated, “The church embraced me. When I lost my dad, we felt alone, but the church stepped in and opened a shop for my mum. Now, I’m giving back to help others.”
This act of generosity highlights Rema’s commitment to giving back to his community and supporting those who helped him during challenging times.
