A new support group, Solution Teachers Movement, has been inaugurated to back the administration of Governor Chukwuma Soludo. The group, under the Post Primary School Services Commission (PPSSC), aims to promote the governor’s policies, which they say are positively impacting the public.
At the event, Mr. Chinedu Nwoye, Chairman of All Soludo Support Groups and Chief of Protocol and Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor, emphasized that the development projects and programs led by Governor Soludo are directly benefiting the people. This, he said, makes it easier to rally support for the administration. He urged various support groups to take the message of Soludo’s achievements to the grassroots and translate their backing into votes.
Highlighting the administration’s efforts, Nwoye noted that Governor Soludo, who plans to expand the free education program, has accomplished more within his term than some predecessors who served for eight years.
Professor Nkechi Ikediugwu, Executive Chairman of PPSSC Awka, praised Soludo’s leadership, describing it as one of good governance that merits continued support. She cited key achievements such as the free education initiative, provision of laboratory equipment, prompt payment of teacher salaries, and recruitment and promotion of educators as some of Soludo’s significant contributions to the education sector.
Mrs. Benedine Anagor, Secretary of PPSSC Awka, added that the free education program has led to a surge in enrollment in public schools, easing the financial burden on parents.
The event was attended by board members of PPSSC Awka and principals from the 21 local government areas of the state, who will work to spread the message of Soludo’s governance at the grassroots level.
