Jaiz Bank, Nigeria’s leading non-interest bank, has been awarded the title of **Global Most Promising Islamic Bank for 2024** at the Global Islamic Finance Summit, held in the Republic of Maldives. The prestigious recognition highlights the bank’s potential for growth, innovation, and strong financial performance.
Chairman of the Global Islamic Finance Awards (GIFA), Humayon Dar, commended Jaiz Bank, stating, “The GIFA committee evaluated several institutions, and after rigorous assessments based on multiple factors, Jaiz Bank Plc emerged as the standout choice.”
In response, the bank’s Managing Director/CEO, Haruna Musa, expressed gratitude for the honour, describing it as a key milestone in the bank’s strategic goal of becoming one of Africa’s leading non-interest financial institutions within the next five years. Musa also recalled Jaiz Bank’s previous wins of the Most Improved Islamic Bank Award in both 2020 and 2021, signaling consistent progress.
