Achalla, Awka North LGA – Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo, was praised for his visionary leadership and dedication to rural development during the 3rd Ofala Festival of Igwe Sunny Ositadinma Nwokedi, Uthoko VI of Achalla, Awka North. The Chief of Staff to the Governor, Ernest Ezeajughi, represented Soludo at the festival and highlighted his numerous accomplishments at the Annual Lecture Series, which focused on the theme, “Impact of Positive Leadership in the Dynamics of Development.”
Speaking at the event, Ezeajughi described Governor Soludo as a role model for effective governance, calling on Anambra citizens to continue supporting the governor’s developmental vision and re-election bid. He noted that Soludo’s initiatives have transformed the state since his inauguration, setting a high standard for governance across Nigeria.
“Anambra is witnessing remarkable changes. From infrastructural developments to educational improvements, Governor Soludo’s administration is a testament to the power of positive leadership. He’s an example other leaders should emulate,” said Ezeajughi.
Ezeajughi outlined key projects that illustrate Soludo’s impact, including a 10-kilometer road connecting Achalla to Isuanaocha, which will significantly reduce travel time from Awka, as well as the employment of over 8,000 teachers, free primary and secondary education, free antenatal and delivery services, the construction of new general hospitals, and the development of a new Government House complex.
Accompanying Ezeajughi to the event was the Commissioner for Information, Dr. Law Mefor, who joined in commending the governor’s dedication to advancing Anambra’s development agenda.
