Anambra State’s Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Professor Sylvia Ifemeje, emphasized the judiciary’s pivotal role in Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s development agenda for the state. Speaking at a special court session held at the Judiciary Headquarters in Awka to mark the start of the 2024/2025 legal year, Professor Ifemeje highlighted the importance of public cooperation to realize the Governor’s vision.
She pointed out that societal failures often stem from injustices, adding that a commitment to justice is essential for achieving excellence across all sectors. Reflecting on the event’s theme, “Advancing Judicial Excellence in the 21st Century,” Professor Ifemeje noted that the Soludo administration aims to continuously foster judicial excellence throughout Anambra State.
