Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has been named among the final five nominees for the prestigious *Goalkeeper of the Year* category in the 2024 CAF Awards.
Falconets star Chiamaka Okwuchukwu also earned a nomination for *Young Player of the Year* after an impressive performance at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia, where she was a standout for Chris Danjuma’s side.
In addition, Nigeria’s Super Falcons are in contention for *Women’s National Team of the Year*, while Edo Queens, the reigning Nigerian champions, are shortlisted for *Women’s Club of the Year*.
The 2024 CAF Awards will recognize outstanding achievements in African football from January to October 2024. The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on December 16, 2024, in Marrakech, Morocco.
Nigerians will be watching closely as the country’s stars and teams vie for top honors in the prestigious continental awards.
