The Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze, has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his exceptional strides in the health sector, which have brought both national and global acclaim to the state.
In a congratulatory message issued after Anambra State secured two prestigious awards — Best State in the South-East and Overall Best in Nigeria at the National Primary Healthcare Leadership Challenge — Rt. Hon. Udeze described the recognition as a testament to Governor Soludo’s transformative efforts in the health sector.
The message, signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, Mr. Emma Madu, also highlighted the vital contributions of Mrs. Nonye Soludo, the Governor’s wife, in advancing healthcare delivery in the state. Udeze praised the Governor’s dedication to building a robust healthcare system and urged the State Ministry of Health, the Anambra State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, and other stakeholders to sustain and enhance the progress made.
The Speaker assured that the State Legislature would continue to provide the necessary legal frameworks to support a sustainable healthcare system, reaffirming its commitment to improving the well-being of Anambra citizens.
