Ghanaian-Nigerian actress Yvonne Okoro has revealed her preference for Nigerian men over their Ghanaian counterparts, citing their romantic nature and generosity as key factors.
Speaking on the Ghanaian TV show *Showbiz 360* alongside her colleague Majid Michel, Okoro explained that her ideal partner must possess both love and generosity, emphasizing that respect and affection are just as important as financial stability.
“Nigerian men or Ghanaian men? Nigerian men are better,” she said. “I didn’t say Nigerian men because of money. That’s not the only thing. Money is there, but love and affection are very important. If they give me money but there’s no love or they’re disrespectful, I wouldn’t want that. I want the whole package. That’s my kind of man. I want everything.”
Born in Tamale, Ghana, to a Nigerian father and a Ghanaian mother, Yvonne Okoro has featured prominently in both Nollywood and Ghollywood films, making her a celebrated figure in the entertainment industries of both countries.
