Popular nightlife entrepreneur, Pascal Okechukwu, also known as Cubana Chief Priest, has clarified that the man who received $30,000 from singer Burna Boy is not his brother, contrary to widespread reports.
Burna Boy had promised the sum to a phone repairer who previously went viral for claiming he was struggling despite allegedly being related to Cubana Chief Priest. This occurred during a social media feud between the singer and the socialite.
On Saturday, content creator Lucky Uduh shared a video revealing that Burna Boy had fulfilled his promise to the man, fueling further discussions online.
Reacting via his Instagram story, Cubana Chief Priest dismissed the claims, stating that he has only one biological brother and two sisters, all of whom are doing well. He also emphasized that he is not financially obligated to support them.
Addressing the situation, he wrote:
*”Alleged brother! Skit makers f**kin oppressors. Dem don kneel am down, you go still bend am down because the pain must reach everybody. My own be say no alert oh, no cash oh; I wan just dey sure say my village boy collect for real. Na still my glorious glory. I have only one biological big brother and two kid sisters. The clarification comes amidst social media chatter surrounding the incident, with Cubana Chief Priest firmly distancing himself from the recipient of Burna Boy’s generosity.
