The announcement was made by the Chairman of the Post Primary Schools Service Commission, Prof. Nkechi Ikediugwu, during the Anambra Schools’ Cultural Day celebration in Awka. She directed principals and teachers to confiscate any mobile phones brought to school by students, citing the growing distraction posed by phone usage during school hours.
