In his welcome remarks, Editor of Vanguard Newspapers, Mr. Eze Anaba, emphasized that the honourees were selected for their excellence and tangible impact. “Getting this cast of awardees was like looking for a needle in a haystack… Our awardees have set exemplary standards through their dedication, creativity, and passion,” he said.
The event was chaired by respected banker and entrepreneur, Mr. Atedo Peterside, who praised the quality of the awardees and commended Vanguard for its consistency and legacy in Nigerian journalism for over four decades.
