Nigerian football stars Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi have achieved promotion back to the Premier League with Leicester City, following Queen Park Rangers’ (QPR) victory over Leeds on Friday night.
Confirmation of their promotion came after QPR secured an impressive 4-0 win over Leeds, with goals from Ilias Chair, Lucas Andersen, Lydon Dykes, and Sam Field.
The win not only secured Leicester City’s promotion to the Premier League but also ensured QPR’s place in the Championship for the upcoming season.
Currently, Leicester City leads the Championship table with 94 points from their previous matches, with only two games remaining. Leeds follows closely behind in second place with 90 points. Ipswich Town occupies the third position with 89 points and three fixtures left to play.
