Access Bank Postpones Planned System Upgrade Scheduled for October 12

Access Bank has announced the postponement of its planned system upgrade, which was originally set to commence on Saturday, October 12. In an email to its customers, the bank stated that a new date for the upgrade will be communicated soon.

The bank emphasized its commitment to enhancing customer experience through improved service functionality. It also reassured customers that all banking services will remain fully operational during this period and urged them to disregard any speculative reports regarding the upgrade.

“We wish to inform our valued customers that the previously announced system upgrade, initially scheduled to begin on Saturday, October 12, has been postponed. A new date for the upgrade will be communicated in due course,” the bank stated.

Access Bank expressed appreciation for customers’ patience and understanding during this time, reiterating its focus on delivering an improved banking experience.

Earlier this week, Access Bank had announced a temporary service disruption to optimize its offerings, with the upgrade originally planned to occur in phases from Saturday, October 12, at 10 PM to Sunday, October 13, at 6:30 AM.

The bank will continue to keep its customers updated with further information regarding the rescheduled upgrade.
