The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) has announced a power outage affecting several parts of Abuja, including Durumi and its surrounding areas, due to heavy downpours.
In a notice issued on Wednesday, AEDC informed residents about the outage and assured them that efforts are underway to restore power.
“We would like to inform residents in parts of Durumi and surrounding areas in Abuja that the current power outage is due to inclement weather conditions affecting the feeder serving these areas,” the statement read.
The company also mentioned that its team of engineers is working diligently to fix the fault and restore power supply as quickly as possible.
