Residents of Agulu community in Anaocha Local Government Area have declared their unanimous support for Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s re-election bid ahead of the November 8 governorship election in Anambra State.

The endorsement was made during an All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) rally held at Nneogidi Primary School, Agulu. Convener and Grand Patron of the Azachaa Oruchie Movement for Soludo, Chief Chukwuma Okonkwo, expressed confidence that APGA would win in all political wards in Agulu, noting that the governor had delivered outstanding performance across key sectors, including restoring security and improving infrastructure.

Chief Chinedu Nwoye, the Anambra State Chief of Protocol and Deputy Chief of Staff, highlighted several projects executed by the Soludo administration that have impacted the community. These include the transformation of the Golden Tulip Agulu into a major leisure hub, the construction of a dual carriageway from Amawbia to Uga passing through Agulu, and the relocation of the Fruit and Vegetable Market to a safer site.

Also speaking, the Deputy Chairman of Anaocha Local Government Area and National Convener of the Azachaa Oruchie Movement, Barrister Peter Emeneh, said the rally demonstrated Agulu’s solid backing for the governor’s second-term bid. He praised Soludo’s achievements, describing his tenure as the most transformative in Anambra’s history within just three years and six months in office.

In their separate remarks, APGA National Chairman Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, Commissioner for Health Dr. Afam Obidike, Anaocha LGA Chairman Chief Romanus Ibekwe, former lawmaker Chief Francis Okoye, and community leader Chief Dan Ogbuefi, commended the governor’s developmental initiatives. They assured that Agulu community would continue to benefit from the administration’s projects if APGA secures a landslide victory in the November 8 election.
