Air Peace, a leading Nigerian airline operator, is poised to inaugurate its Abuja-London route in the near future, according to Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo.
Keyamo made this announcement during an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today program on Thursday. He confirmed that he has granted approval for Air Peace to expand its London route to include flights from Abuja.
The revelation comes on the heels of Air Peace’s recent introduction of flights between Lagos and Gatwick, a move that garnered praise from numerous Nigerians.
The commencement of Air Peace’s Lagos-London route prompted other airlines to reduce their fares, prompting Allen Onyema, the owner of Air Peace, to allege an international conspiracy behind the price adjustments.
With the impending launch of the Abuja-London route, Air Peace aims to further solidify its position in the Nigerian aviation industry and provide additional travel options for passengers traveling between Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
