Chief Azubuike Ekweozor, a prominent figure in the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) from Umuawulu community, Awka South Local Government Area, has intensified grassroots mobilization for Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo’s second-term bid in the 2025 Anambra gubernatorial elections.
Speaking to journalists after a strategic meeting with Umuawulu APGA ward executives and stakeholders, Chief Ekweozor expressed strong confidence in Governor Soludo’s re-election, citing the governor’s remarkable achievements within two years and eight months in office.
“Governor Soludo has transformed public service and governance in Anambra State. His achievements in job creation, youth empowerment, infrastructure, industrialization, health, and education have been unparalleled, leaving no room for doubt about his second-term victory,” Chief Ekweozor stated.
Through his grassroots platform, *Ide Global Movement*, which operates across Awka North/South Federal Constituency, Chief Ekweozor is rallying widespread support for the governor. The movement focuses on empowering the less privileged and promoting good governance.
During the meeting, Umuawulu APGA ward executives and stakeholders unanimously appointed Chief Ekweozor as the leader of the party in the community.
In his acceptance speech, Chief Ekweozor thanked the party members for their trust and vowed to use his position to strengthen the party, reconcile aggrieved members, and ensure a united front ahead of the 2025 elections.
