As the 2025 Anambra gubernatorial election approaches, former Governor Dame Virgy Etiaba has emphasized the need to sustain Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s “Dubai-Taiwan” vision to prevent project abandonment.
Dame Etiaba made this statement while touring projects initiated by the Soludo-led administration in Awka, accompanied by the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Most Reverend Matthew Kukah.
Describing the projects as marvelous, Etiaba recalled Soludo’s campaign promise to transform Anambra into a “Dubai-Taiwan” and commended him for staying true to his word. She praised the governor’s dedication to the state’s development and stressed that the only way to maintain the current pace of transformation is to support a leader with proven integrity and the ability to achieve more with limited resources.
Bishop Kukah offered prayers for Soludo’s good health and further achievements as the governor marks his third year in office.
