Anambra 2025: Market Chairman Vows To Garner Votes For Soludo, Receives APGA Ambassador Award

The Market Chairman of Iron Dealers Union, Atani Road, Ogbaru Local Government Area, Mr Evaristus Ejezie, a.k.a Ntu, has vowed to garner votes for the re-election of Governor Charles Soludo come 2025 governorship election.

Making the vow during the inauguration of a 21 Man APGA executives in the market, he stated that Governor Soludo must be delivered in Ogbaru no matter what it takes.

He reiterated that Charlie Nwamgbafor has surmounted all obstacles that have been hindering Okpoko from development which resulted in total negligence of the area since inception from previous administrations.

He disclosed that he has never supported any party, only this APGA led government, stressing that this is the first APGA structure being installed since the inception of the market.

“Achievements of Governor Soludo in the Local government are not far fetched, some politicians show off some roads from the western countries on bill boards but in Anambra State, the blind testifies, because if you didn’t eat in your mouth, you step on it.

“Governor Soludo constructed roads, some with double lane and drainages, built healthcare center for free delivery and other health issues, dug pipeborne water, among other infrastructures in all the 21 LG of the State, leaving no LG behind.

“In Aguata, construction of flyover in ongoing in Ekwulobia, in Uga, my father’s place which was where the governor went to school, the construction of Obizi Uga road is ongoing , the road Governor Soludo used to be eaten his mango and trekked to school.

“In markets, we follow his footprints which one of them is transparency, I have installed solar in our market, planted trees, desilting of drainages around the market and so many of them.

” I appreciated his effort, also the relentless effort of the Special Adviser to The Governor on Trade and Markets (SPAD)Chief Evarist Uba and President General, PG Anambra State Market Amalgamated Traders Association, ASMATA, Chief Humphrey Anuna.

“All we need is for the government to create a way of registering unregistered traders and a nearby pooling booths because we are out for the Governor.

He noted that they are the market that won the just concluded Anambra State traders trophy 2023, stating that all they owe the state government is to come out enmasse for the re-election of Governor Soludo because Ogbaru Local Government is solidly behind him.

Earlier in his speech, prior to the inauguration, the Ogbaru All Progressive Grand Alliance,APGA, Chairman, Pastor Onochie Obiora said that they came to the market to set a structure by Inaugurating a 21 Man Committee who would spread the good news of the Governor.

“On behalf of the APGA National Chairman, Barr. Sly Ezeokenwa, the State Chairman, High Chief Ifeatu Obi-Okoye, we came to you today, we go to markets in Ogbaru LG and set APGA structures.

“The Chairman would receive an award in his name and on behalf of the Executives to show the solid relationship he has with the party both at the LG, State and Federal level.

He after inaugurating the committees, charged them to be the mouth speakers of APGA in the market, to spread the achievements of the Governor in all the nooks, crannies of Ogbaru and wherever they are.

He presented the Award of Ogbaru APGA Ambassador to the chairman in recognition of his outstanding performance in the iron dealers market, stating that”All I know is that I have the data, since the inception of APGA in Ogbaru market, the best supporter is from this iron dealers, High Chief Linus Ezenkwu Omereora in Uga.

The Secretary of the market, Mr Ugochukwu Nnadozie expressed his joy over the award given to the chairman, saying that it is because of his unalloyed support to APGA and the government, promised that they would keep on supporting APGA for the Governor is doing very well especially in Ogbaru LG.

The Local Government Woman Leader, Mrs Chinyere Ndubuisi advised women to come out enmasse to spread the good news of the governor and to also mobilize voters for his re -election come 2025.

Mr Akwobi-one of the party stakeholders in Ogbaru LG said that they have not been going to markets, so they now decided to visit the market in Ogbaru LG, to let them know that it is necessary to support the governor because his leadership meant well for the people.
