The National Convener of Soludo Support Group SSG, Hon.Chinedu Nwoye, (a.k.a.Glamour), has inaugurated the Soludo Support Group, SSG, of New Auto Spare Parts market Nkpor, Idemili North Local Government Area, Anambra State.
During the inauguration, Nwoye described Soludo as father of ecumenism adding that dichotomy is not in his dictionary for he takes all churches as one before God which prompted him to work for man and God.
He said that the good works of the governor were his reason for his re election, disclosing that, “For the first time in the state, the governor remembers the Pentecostals, after the Catholics and Anglicans, he is the father of ecumenism.”
He disclosed further that to know of the governor’s achievements that “You Need To Know” fliers, are being shared, in markets, churches, meeting places especially markets where people from different places do come together and leave after the days trading to their respective homes, destinations”.
”It is after gathering these informations on the good works of our governor, what he is doing and what he has done, then they take it home and spread the good news for others to know.
To the newly inaugurated team led by the market chairman, Chief Stephen Ofoleh, he said, ”We have come to make you the followers of Soludo, not only for hearing but to spread it too, I don’t inaugurate but to pray for you, since you decided to spread the works on your own with your resources, to propagate the good works.
“We are not coarcing anybody, one good thing is that these market leaders do come to us and ask they want to be part of this. ‘You Need To Know’ campaign, they want their market people to be well informed about the good works the governor is doing, that’s why I said the support is purely organic.
”With what I’m seeing now, even the oppositions will vote for Soludo, even the people that will contest the governorship with him will vote for him because he is the father of the future, governor of our children, who knows how to move the state forward, he is not selfish but a generous person.
”My message to the people of Anambra is to continue to give support to Governor Soludo, keep the environment clean, if you see something, say something, inform us when you see something wrong, we have to put an end to touting, report them to the various phone numbers we shared if you see any of them.
“I pray to the new members, that God will give them the grace and enablement to continue, because it is not easy to run this kind of campaign with your hard earned money,”he prayed.
In his response, the market chairman, Chief Stephen Ofoleh, (a.k.a Award), expressed his joy for the successful event, saying that as Nwoye said, “We are already believers. They are going around informing people but it is we that invited them, meaning that we are already Soludo Support Group without inauguration.
”Even the blind is seeing the good works of our governor, if there would be third tenure, we would want him to be re elected because second tenure is assured, not disputable, within two years, he has done marvelously well on roads, free antenatal care and other infrastructural developments”.
On security, he said that it is a global challenge but he still counts Governor Soludo as number one for his relentless effort in fighting insecurity, stating that before he came to power as the governor, some local governments were under siege by the unknown gunmen but as it is today, those of the local governments are free, we can now sleep with our two eyes closed.
He also reiterated that Auto New Spare Parts is one APGA family, one people, one agenda and one market.
The Zonal Coordinator, SSG Anambra North, Hon Sam Emeka, complained that some markets did not queue into Governor Soludo’s agenda for the markets in the state.
He regretted the attitude of some traders on denying their apprentices of their benefits, stating that Governor Soludo announced to the traders to submit the number of apprentices under them, instead of asking questions, they concluded that the arrangement was to know the amount of taxes one should be paying not knowing that it is 1 youth, 2 skills initiative, which the beneficiaries at the end of the training got #500,000 each.
He advised traders to always ask questions so that they would be on the know and also be part of the state government’s policies and programs, saying that his apprentices are among the beneficiaries.
Present to Grace the occasion included, National Financial Secretary SSG, Dr Roy Chinwuba, Coordinator SSG Idemili North, Hon Chudi Onwuachu, Former Executive Chairman Ihiala LG who is also the National Coordinator SSG, Chief Awudosi Chigozie, among others.
