Anambra: ASATU Holds Monthly meeting, induct new members

The Anambra State Association of Town Unions (ASATU), yesterday, July 2, 2022 held its general meeting at the Association’s National Headquarters, Government House, Awka.
Speaking, the National President of ASATU, Barr. Titus Akpudo thanked members of the Association for attending the day’s meeting.
He urged members to endeavour and mobilize their town’s people for voters registration noting that going forward, any President General who do not have his PVC will not be participating in the Union’s activities.
Barr. Akpudo commended the Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo for all his efforts at fighting insecurity in the state and bringing peace in all the communities and reassured him of the Association’s unalloyed support.
The meeting received and swore in new members like Chief Chidiebele Obika, PG. Nteje, Nise, Prof. Tony Nwokoye, PG. Nibo, Phar. Mgbajiaka, PG. Enugwu Agidi, Ikenga, Chief Ekene, PG. Ndiokolo, Agulu among others.
Groups and individuals like The Anambra State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon. Don Onyenji, Awka Chamber of Commerce, ANSPOLY, Special Adviser to Governor Soludo on Youth Empowerment Programme, Dr. Nelson Omenugha, Equity Group, Community Resource Management and Conservation Initiative and Anambra State NYSC Coordinator, Mrs. Ekene Iruma visited the association and made presentations.
