The Anambra State House of Assembly has confirmed Dr. Law Mefor as the Commissioner-designate for Information, following his nomination by Governor Chukwuma Soludo. Dr. Mefor is set to replace Sir Paul Nwosu in the role.

The confirmation occurred during a plenary session where Dr. Mefor underwent a thorough screening and was deemed fully qualified to serve in the state government. His appointment was unanimously supported by lawmakers through a voice vote, presided over by Deputy Speaker, Right Honourable Chukwuma Okoye.
