Anambra Assembly Health Committee Praises Governor Soludo for Enugwu-Ukwu General Hospital Upgrade

The Anambra State House of Assembly Committee on Health has lauded Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his proactive measures in enhancing healthcare delivery across the state. This commendation followed the committee’s oversight visit to Enugwu-Ukwu General Hospital in the Njikoka Council Area, where they reviewed the ongoing renovation project.

The committee members expressed satisfaction with the quality of infrastructure, modern medical equipment, and the installation of solar power systems ensuring constant electricity supply at the hospital.

Chief Tony Muobike, Chairman of the House Committee on Health, praised Governor Soludo for transforming the hospital, noting the significant improvements in the quality and accessibility of care. He reaffirmed the eighth assembly’s dedication to diligently overseeing government projects and ensuring the judicious use of allocated funds.

Dr. Dozie Udolisa, the Chief Medical Director of Enugwu-Ukwu General Hospital, expressed his gratitude for the committee’s visit and the governor’s renovations, which have substantially upgraded the hospital’s facilities and services. He also highlighted the need for additional staff to manage the increasing patient load.

The oversight team included Honourable Anayo Okpaleke of Aguata Constituency One, Honourable Noble Igwe of Ogbaru Constituency One, Engineer Emma Nwafor of Orumba South, and Honourable Golden Iloh of Ihiala Constituency One, among others.
