Anambra Assembly Speaker Hails Bianca Ojukwu’s Appointment as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs

The Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Mr. Somtochukwu Udeze, has lauded the appointment of Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs by President Bola Tinubu, describing it as “meritorious, deserving, and expected.”

In a statement congratulating Ambassador Ojukwu on behalf of the state legislature, Udeze emphasized her qualifications for the role, citing her previous service as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Spain and other high-profile positions she has held.

Udeze commended President Tinubu for selecting top talents from Anambra State, regardless of political affiliations, to work in his administration. He highlighted the contributions of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) to the federal government, pointing to Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s role on the Federal Government Economic Team and Ambassador Ojukwu’s new appointment as a member of the APGA Board of Trustees.

The Speaker offered prayers for Ambassador Ojukwu’s success, urging her to bring her vast experience to bear in her duties and to make Anambra State proud in her new role.
