Anambra Government Open to Partnerships for Citizen Welfare, Says Commissioner

The Anambra State Government is committed to partnering with organizations that can provide solutions to the needs of its citizens, according to the Commissioner for Special Duties, Hon. Beverly Ikpeazu-Nkemdiche. The Commissioner made this statement while hosting the State Coordinator of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), Mr. Loveday Chika, during a courtesy visit at the Government House in Awka.

Hon. Ikpeazu-Nkemdiche commended NIMC for their efforts in streamlining identity management across the country and expressed readiness to collaborate with the commission. She highlighted the importance of accurate identity data in shaping policies, particularly for improving the welfare of older residents in Anambra.

Mr. Chika, in his remarks, outlined NIMC’s recent reforms and innovations aimed at making data collection and management more efficient for public policy development. He expressed eagerness to explore partnership opportunities with the state government and the Ministry of Special Duties to enhance citizen services.
