Anambra Government Rewards Winners of Battle4Solution with Over ₦100 Million

The Anambra State Government has awarded cash prizes totaling over ₦100 million to winners of the *Battle4Solution* competition, a highlight of the recently concluded Anambra Innovation Week 2024.

The competition, organized by the Solution Innovation District, featured participation from individuals, institutions, ministries, departments, and agencies, showcasing creativity and problem-solving skills across various categories.

During the award ceremony, the Special Adviser to Governor Chukwuma Soludo on Innovation and Business Incubation, Chinwe Okoli, highlighted the competition’s goal of driving innovation and fostering solutions to contemporary challenges.

One of the standout winners, Mr. Lawrence Okosa, received ₦5 million for emerging as the top performer in the start-up category. Expressing his gratitude, he praised Governor Soludo for empowering youths through initiatives that prioritize innovation and entrepreneurship.

In addition to the cash rewards, certificates were presented to over 2,000 youths from the state who successfully completed the *Code Anambra* program. The four-month training equipped participants with technological skills such as cybersecurity, web development, and other digital competencies.

Ms. Okoli noted that the program reflects the state government’s commitment to building a tech-driven economy and creating opportunities for Anambra’s youth to excel in the global digital landscape.

The event underscores Governor Soludo’s vision to position Anambra as a hub for innovation and technology, fostering economic growth through youth empowerment and creativity.
