“I can testify to the goodness of God on our market, during the registration of the tournament, Iron dealers market was financially down, we couldn’t register until it dawned on us that it was a must for all the 82 markets to register. So we registered two days to the end of the registration, not knowing that God has planned our upliftment.
” When I realized that God’s hand is in what we were doing was when we got to the final under Ogbaru, the miraculous ways our team scored, then we moved up to the final.
“I thank God for everything and will never stop, I am always with my Rosary all through the match, I go with Rosary from day one till today, and I want to name our trophy “Angelic Football Club” of Iron Dealers Atani Road and we are looking forward to win this year’s tournament again.
Contributing, the Chairman of the occasion, Chief Louis Nzekwe, stressed the need for the champions to maintain their lead adding that if they under rate those they won in the third first tournament, they would lose the cup as defending champion.
“You should start early to plan to be stronger than you were because in soccer things may change unexpectedly. Don’t under rate any team because you lifted the trophy. I am happy that you won and if you retain the cup I will remain happy.
Former Chairman of Iron Dealers Union Atani Road, Chief Nnaemeka Onwuzulike commended Mr Ejezie for the team’s effort to win the trophy, stating that “It is not easy, this is not only for Onitsha but the whole markets in the state, It is only those who play football that will understand the value of this trophy”.

“As you are going in for the second round as defending champion, do not be allowed to be sacked in the first leg, get prepared financially,” he advised.
Mr Sebastine Anija, the Coach, recalled that he earlier made a promise at Chuba Ikpeazu that they must go back to Atani Iron Dealers with the trophy.
“I am telling other markets to be prepared for this year’s cup that we are going back with the trophy again, as long as God is on our side, we hope in God that we will retain the trophy,” he vowed.
