Anambra Police Commissioner, Aderemi Adeoye, Retires After 35 Years of Exemplary Service

The Anambra State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Aderemi Adeoye, bid farewell to the Nigeria Police Force after a distinguished thirty-five-year career.

A send-off ceremony was held at the iconic Alex Ekwueme Square in Awka, adhering to police traditions. The event drew notable dignitaries, including Governor Chukwuma Soludo, represented by his Deputy, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, former Chairman of the Police Service Commission, Chief Simon Okeke, service commanders, traditional rulers, members of the Police Officers Wives Association (POWA), and various stakeholders.

Commissioner Adeoye’s retirement marks the end of an era characterized by unwavering commitment and dedication to service. His tenure has left an indelible mark on law enforcement in Anambra State and beyond.
