The Anambra State Government, under the leadership of Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, is making strides in advancing digital access across the state with the expansion of its Solution Wi-Fi Initiative. This initiative, which aligns with the Governor’s vision of “Everything Technology and Technology Everywhere,” aims to provide free, high-speed internet to residents as part of a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model to boost Anambra’s digital transformation.
Initially launched as a pilot project at three key locations—Aroma Junction, Book Foundation, and School Gate Ifite—the Solution Wi-Fi network has now expanded to 14 additional sites throughout Anambra. This rapid growth underscores the government’s commitment to bridging the digital divide and offering students, businesses, and residents improved access to essential online resources for education, development, and economic empowerment.
Spearheaded by the Anambra State ICT Agency in collaboration with Pine Heights Systems Limited (PHSWEB), the initiative uses the PPP framework to accelerate the rollout of digital infrastructure. This partnership not only optimizes resources but also strengthens Anambra’s position as a leader in technology inclusion in Nigeria.
With each new location, Solution Wi-Fi brings Anambra closer to becoming a fully connected digital ecosystem. Governor Soludo’s administration envisions a state where easy access to the internet fuels innovation, educational advancement, and economic growth, making digital inclusion a central element of social progress.
The state government remains dedicated to extending this initiative to more areas, aligning with Governor Soludo’s goal of a tech-enabled Anambra that prepares its citizens for success in the digital economy. By collaborating with Pine Heights Systems Limited (PHSWEB), Anambra State is setting a new standard in digital transformation, positioning itself as a beacon of technological advancement.
