The Executive Secretary of the Anambra State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (ASPHCDA), Pharm Chisom Uchem, has chaired the weekly Technical Working Group (TWG) meeting in preparation for the 2024 Measles vaccination campaign. The meeting focused on evaluating the state’s readiness for the upcoming integrated campaign.
In attendance were key stakeholders, including the Director of Disease Control and Immunization, Dr. Nnamdi Placid Uliagbafusi, and the World Health Organization (WHO) Anambra State Coordinator, Dr. Bonos Mohammed.
Discussions at the meeting covered a range of topics, including updates on previous action points, pending pre-implementation activities, plans for lower-level training, and the setting of an implementation date for the vaccination campaign. The review of these points was crucial to ensuring a successful rollout of the vaccination program across Anambra State.
