The Anambra State Government has officially handed over the site for the construction of the Light of Nation Tower and Water Fountain at Ekwulobia roundabout as part of efforts to beautify the environment and establish a smart mega city.
During the handover ceremony, Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Mr. Ifeanyi Okoma, represented by Mr. Amobi Anthony, Director of the Maintenance Department, stated that Governor Chukwuma Soludo is committed to enhancing Anambra’s environment. The commissioner urged the contractor to adhere to the specified four-month completion timeline.
Mr. Maher Dib, Managing Director of IDC Construction Ltd, expressed gratitude for the contract award and assured the government that the project would be completed on schedule and to exacting standards.
