The Anambra State Health Insurance Agency, (ASHIA) has been recognized as the Most Innovative Agency in Anambra State during the recently concluded Solution Innovation District (SID) Week program.
The prestigious award highlights ASHIA’s exemplary use of digital technology in its daily operations. Alongside the recognition, the agency received a cash prize of two million naira.
Speaking at the award ceremony, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Simeon Onyemaechi, expressed his gratitude to the ASHIA team for their relentless dedication to innovation.
He emphasized that these technological advancements have not only transformed the agency’s operations but also improved healthcare access for the people of Anambra State.
The event was graced by the Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, who commended the agency for its innovative contributions to healthcare delivery in the state.
