Anambra State House of Assembly Extols Soludo’s Efforts in Mmiata-Nzam Road Construction

In a commendatory gesture, the Anambra State House of Assembly has lauded Governor Chukwuma Soludo for spearheading the construction of the Mmiata-Anam-Nzam road, a project that fulfills a crucial campaign promise to the constituency.

During today’s plenary session, the House unanimously expressed admiration for Governor Soludo’s commitment to infrastructural development, particularly in Anambra West Constituency, as they deliberated on a motion put forward by Honourable Patrick Udoba, representing the constituency.

Honourable Udoba highlighted the significance of the Mmiata-Nzam road, noting its pivotal role in connecting Anambra West Local Government Headquarters, located in Nzam, to the broader transportation network. He emphasized that the absence of a proper access road had hindered economic activities in the area.

Recalling Governor Soludo’s pledge during his electoral campaign, Udoba underscored the importance of fulfilling promises made to constituents, especially concerning vital infrastructure like the Mmiata-Nzam road. He praised the governor’s efforts in almost completing the project, which he believes will soon be ready for commissioning.

Support for the motion echoed throughout the chamber, with members from various constituencies offering their commendations. Right Honourable Chukwuma Okoye of Awka South Constituency Two, Honourable Nonso Atuchukwu representing Nnewi South Constituency One, and Honourable Anayo Okpalaeke of Aguata Constituency One, all hailed Governor Soludo for his proactive approach to addressing the infrastructural needs of the state.

Additionally, Honourable Emma Nwafor, representing Orumba South, and Honourable Jude Akpua, the Deputy Majority Leader, joined in praising Governor Soludo’s administration for its remarkable achievements, asserting that the governor has exceeded expectations with his transformative agenda for Anambra State.
