The Anambra State House of Assembly is set to hold a valedictory session on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, in honor of the late Rt. Hon. Harford Oseke, a former Deputy Speaker and esteemed member of the Assembly.
Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze, announced the session during plenary on Thursday, calling on members of the 8th Assembly to wear white attire and arrive punctually to pay their final respects to their former colleague.
Late Oseke, who represented the Awka South II constituency, served as the Majority Leader in the 5th Assembly and held the position of Deputy Speaker in the 6th Assembly. He was born in August 1960 and hailed from Umuawulu in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
