Anambra State’s Commissioner for Information Commends Soludo’s Youth Empowerment Initiative

Anambra State’s Commissioner for Information, Dr. Law Mefor, has praised Governor Chukwuma Soludo for launching the 1Youth 2Skills TV and the Youth TV Studio. These initiatives, part of the 2024 Action Plan, aim to inform, engage, and equip Anambra’s youth with valuable skills.

During a recent visit to the TV Studio at the Ministry of Youth Development Complex, Dr. Mefor commended the ministry, led by Mr. Patrick Agha Mba, for effectively implementing Governor Soludo’s vision for youth development.

The Commissioner highlighted the initiative’s alignment with Governor Soludo’s focus on creating jobs and empowering individuals. He emphasized the Governor’s preference for sustainable solutions over short-term handouts, advocating for programs that teach skills and provide support for self-reliance.

Dr. Mefor was particularly impressed by the 1Youth 2Skills TV Production Crew’s professionalism and quality work. He assured the Ministry of Information’s full support for the initiative and encouraged communities to follow the example of Obosi, which has launched its own 1Family, 2Skills program.

By promoting initiatives like 1Youth 2Skills, Anambra State is taking significant steps to empower its youth and drive economic growth.
