ANFASSC President Urges Support for Super Eagles Coach Eric Chelle

The National President of the Authentic Nigeria Football and Allied Sports Supporters Club (ANFASSC), Abayomi Ogunjimi, has called on stakeholders in the Nigerian football community to unite behind newly appointed Super Eagles coach, Eric Chelle.

Ogunjimi stressed the importance of collective support in achieving two key objectives: securing qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and winning the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.

“We must put aside our differences and unite behind coach Eric Chelle and the Super Eagles,” Ogunjimi said. “Qualifying for the World Cup and winning the Africa Cup of Nations are our top priorities, and we must work together to achieve these objectives.”

Expressing confidence in Chelle’s leadership abilities, Ogunjimi urged fans, sponsors, and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to rally around the coach and the team. “Together, we can achieve greatness and bring glory to our beloved country,” he added.

The ANFASSC president also highlighted the importance of collaboration with the National Sports Commission to implement the Renewed Hope Sports Agenda. He believes this initiative will rejuvenate Nigeria’s sports sector and help unlock the country’s vast athletic potential.

As the Super Eagles prepare for the 2025 AFCON and the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, Ogunjimi’s appeal serves as a reminder of the need for unity and unwavering support to drive the team to success.
