The State Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Anambra, Chief Sir Ifeatu Obiokoye, paid a courtesy call this week to Chief Dr. Mike Okechukwu Areh at his Onitsha residence. The visit aimed to rally key stakeholders and community leaders behind Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s re-election bid and to reinforce party unity for continued state development.
Chief Obiokoye praised the Soludo administration for its people-focused policies, citing the introduction of free antenatal care at all Primary Healthcare Centres, the construction of five new general hospitals in the Anambra North Senatorial Zone, and the elimination of school fees for nursery, primary, and secondary students in state-owned schools. He described these initiatives as evidence of APGA’s commitment to inclusive governance.
Highlighting the party’s core principle, Obiokoye stated that APGA remains “our pride and identity” and reaffirmed the party’s pledge to leave no one behind. He underscored the importance of ensuring that every citizen benefits from the administration’s developmental agenda.
The meeting drew other senior APGA officers from the Ministry of Information, who joined in affirming their support for the governor’s re-election and for ongoing progress across Anambra State.
