As preparations intensify for the November 2025 governorship election, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) is finalizing arrangements for a smooth primary election scheduled for Saturday.
Governor Chukwuma Soludo disclosed this after a closed-door meeting with party leaders, stakeholders, elected local government mayors, and councillors at the International Convention Centre, Awka.
Speaking to the media, Soludo emphasized that Anambra remains a unified state with a common political direction. He described the meeting as a strategic session to align party members ahead of the primary election and assess the achievements of his administration over the past three years.
Expressing confidence in his administration’s performance, the governor stated that APGA has never been this united in an election year. He noted a broad consensus within the party supporting the continuity of his government.
