At Least 45 Nawfija Natives Join ASHIA Pool Of Enrollees

Over 45 indigenes of Nawfija in Orumba South Local Government Area of Anambra State have enrolled with the State Health Insurance Scheme, thanks to the philanthropic efforts of Prince Ofobuike Okoli Egbo.

He utilized the adoption model strategy of ASHIA which allows individuals to enroll their relatives and friends by paying their annual premium.

Speaking to a correspondent, Prince Ofobuike Okoli Egbo expressed his joy in giving back to society and serving humanity. He hoped the community will take advantage of the opportunity to access quality medical treatment at an affordable cost.

Prince Ofobuike believed that health is a fundamental right and that everyone deserves access to quality medical care, regardless of their financial situation. By sponsoring the enrollments, he hoped to alleviate the financial burden of healthcare for many families in Nawfija community.

Mr. Izuchukwu Ogbaji, representing Dr. Simeon Onyemaechi, the Managing Director and CEO of the Anambra State Health Insurance Agency, educated the people on the benefits of the scheme and its role in reducing medical expenses. He encouraged the newly enrolled beneficiaries to seek quality treatment from accredited healthcare facilities and to avoid unlicensed medical practitioners.

Newly enrolled beneficiary, Okeke Hyacinth Kenechukwu expressed his gratitude for the initiative and prayed for the sponsors’ well-being and continued Gods blessing on him.
