Famous Nigerian singer Ayra Starr and South African DJ Maphorisa are set to perform at the 2024 Creative Africa Nexus Weekend (CANEX WKND) concert. The event will take place from October 16 to 19, 2024, in Algiers, Algeria.
CANEX WKND is a premier showcase of Africa’s creative and cultural industries, attracting top talent from across the continent. Alongside Ayra Starr and DJ Maphorisa, other performers include Kenyan singer Sofiya Nzau, Tinariwen, a Tuareg music group from southern Algeria, and South African artist Kabza De Small.
Ayra Starr gained international fame following the release of her hit single *”Bloody Samaritan”* in 2021, cementing her position as one of Nigeria’s leading music stars.
