Nigerian singer Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr, has revealed that she is finally coming to terms with her father’s death. In a recent interview with Elle magazine, she disclosed that the outro of her sophomore album, ‘The Year I Turned 21,’ titled ‘The Kids Are All Right,’ serves as a tribute to her late father.
“I end the album with a song called ‘The Kids Are All Right,’ which is my niece singing about dad and finally coming to terms with the death of my dad,” Ayra Starr shared.
Her sophomore album, set to be released this Friday, features collaborations with artists such as Asake, Seyi Vibez, Giveon, Anitta, Coco Jones, and Mil.
