Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner, Imisi, has opened up about the challenges of adapting to life in the public eye, revealing that maintaining a glamorous image has been one of the toughest adjustments since her rise to fame.
Speaking at a recent public event, the reality TV star admitted that the constant expectation to appear polished and camera-ready has been overwhelming. She shared that wearing makeup regularly is something she continues to struggle with, as she prefers a more natural and minimalistic style.
“I’d say having to put on makeup each time I step out, maybe for an event like this, really isn’t my thing. I don’t like things on my face, and I even hate hairs on my body,” Imisi said.
She added that despite her confidence in her natural look, public perception and industry expectations have pushed her to maintain a consistent appearance. “Honestly, I think I look good without all that, but because of what you’re trying to portray and how people expect you to appear, you’ve got to keep your hair, makeup, and nails done,” she explained.
Imisi’s remarks have sparked discussions about the pressures celebrities face to maintain idealized standards of beauty and the personal adjustments that come with fame.
