The first nomination show of BBNaija Season 9 took place on Monday, with five pairs of housemates now facing possible eviction. The nominated pairs are Beta, Chekas, DoubleKay, Wanni x Handi, and Zinwe. At least one of these pairs will leave the house during the live eviction show on Sunday.
This comes after the organizers announced significant rule changes for the ongoing season. The show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, revealed that Biggie has abolished the Custodian Challenge and the Head of House (HOH) ballot. Additionally, housemates no longer have the power to vote for the eviction of the bottom four pairs.
However, immunity for the Head of House has been restored, though the HOH no longer has the power to “save and replace” any pair. Under the new rules, the pairs will now nominate each other for eviction, while the viewers hold the ultimate power to decide who leaves through their votes.
