Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, Chairman of the Silverbird Group, has pledged that Nigeria will host the 2025 Miss Universe pageant if Chidimma Adetshina, the newly crowned Miss Universe Nigeria, wins this year’s global competition.
In a statement shared on his X (formerly Twitter) account, Murray-Bruce affirmed his company’s commitment to ensuring Nigeria secures the hosting rights. He assured that the challenges encountered during Nigeria’s bid to host Miss World in 2002 would not be repeated, stating, “Nigeria is set to reclaim its rightful place on the global stage.”
Adetshina, who was previously forced to resign from the Miss South Africa contest due to scrutiny of her nationality, recently won the Miss Universe Nigeria title.
